Article 1 - Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the App, and when you share your Personal Data with us through our in-store subscriptions, by phone, or by other voluntary means in Hong Kong and Macau. This policy explains how we may collect, use, and disclose your Personal Data, including our obligations and your rights in respect of our dealings with your Personal Data consistent with our commitment to providing you with a satisfactory and helpful shopping experience.
By visiting and/or using the services made available to you through the app, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy, which shall apply to all information that we have about you, and that any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy, and our App’s Terms and Conditions.
We, D & G Development Limited (“We”, “Us”, and “Company”), pledges to comply with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), and the Macau Personal Data Protection Act (Law 8/2005).
Article 2 - Information to be Obtained
Personal data (“Personal Data”) includes
Demographic based information, such as your name, email address, phone number, gender, age, residential address, birthday, and any other information you may supply us for identification purposes.
Transaction based information, such as usage history of our services, and purchase history of products, etc.
Behavioral based information, such as usage history and browsing history of the app and e-shop.
Preference based information, such as answers shared through questionnaires, voting, sweepstakes, etc. from the Company.
This app is intended for use by audiences aged 13 and up. If you are younger than 18 years of age, explicit parental consent and supervision during use of the app is required.
While each person is required to own their own account, If you provide us with Personal Data about another person, you represent and warrant to us that you have obtained all necessary consents from that other person to permit us to use that Personal Data as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
We may ask you to provide Personal Data when you use the app. Please note that it is mandatory for you to provide certain categories of Personal Data (as specified at the time of collection). In the event that you do not provide any Personal Data marked as mandatory, we may not be able to process your request, or provide you with our services.
Article 3 - Purpose of Use
All personal information provided by customers to the company will be used within the scope of the following purposes of use. This includes the act of analyzing the information obtained for the purposes set out in this section.
To advertise and provide information on products or services sold or provided to customers (including the distribution of various information such as information on benefits and gifts for members, information on questionnaires, information on campaigns and sales, information on events, etc., as well as the display of personalized web content for customers, advertising, and provision of information).
To provide after-sales services, such as customer service and to respond to enquiries, feedback, or claims.
To investigate and analyze the purchase and usage status of products or services, such as purchases, transactions, shopping patterns, account activity, and payment history.
To improve products or services and consider new products or services, etc.
For statistical analysis for the purpose of improving customer convenience and service quality.
To register and manage customer information.
To respond to inquiries such as questions and requests from customers.
To notify you of product recalls, or safety problems, such as problems with purchased products.
For advertising in the Company’s recruitment activities, contacting you regarding recruitment, and verifying your identity.
To investigate and prevent violations of the terms and conditions and problematic acts, etc.
To contact the customer in relation to each of the above items and to confirm the identity of the customer.
In addition, in order to achieve the purpose of use described in this item, the Company may provide customer information to third parties such as business partners in a format that cannot identify an individual by itself and cannot be used to identify an individual even by collating with external information that is normally assumed, and prohibits the act of identifying a specific individual based on such information.
Article 4 - Joint Use, and Provision to Third Parties
We may provide your information in the following cases:
In order to achieve the purpose of use as outlined in Article 3, the Company may outsource all or part of the work necessary for operation and management of the app to a third party, such as suppliers of technological services, financial transactions, logistics services, transportation, reward programmes, purchase order management, customer service, fraud investigations, and/or analysis of any actions done within the app. In that case, we will safely manage your personal information by conducting necessary and appropriate supervision of the contractor.
The Company may disclose or transfer (whether in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, or abroad) customer information stipulated in Article 2 to our parent, subsidiary, and associated companies. The companies that share this information will use it within the scope of the purpose of use stipulated within Article 3. Even in this case, we will be responsible for managing your personal information.
Personal information provided by customers will not be provided to third parties except in the following cases.
When the consent of the customer has been obtained in advance
When statistical data is processed so that individual customers cannot be identified.
When the format is such that the individual customer cannot be identified and cannot be identified by collation with external information that is normally assumed, and the act of identifying a specific individual based on that information is prohibited.
When transferring your personal information as a result of a merger, spin-off, business succession, etc.
When the Company reasonably determines that it is necessary to provide services to the customer.
When the Company reasonably determines that it is necessary to protect life, health, property, rights, etc. of the customer.
When there is any other provision by law.

We will take the following reasonable security control measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse or loss to your personal information. We will collect, use, or disclose your Personal Data only with your knowledge and consent, as set out in the Privacy Policy, unless otherwise required or permitted by law.
Establishment of Rules for the Handling of Personal Information
To prevent the leakage of personal information, and to manage personal information safely, we have established internal rules that clarify the person responsible for the handling of personal information, their scope of handling, the method of handling, and related guidelines.
Personnel Safety Control Measures
Information is disseminated on proper handling of personal information as regular workshops and internal training for our employees.
Physical Security Control Measures
In areas where personal information is handled, we have established controls to regulate the entry and exit of employees and restrict the equipment that they bring in, as well as to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing personal information. In order to prevent theft or loss of equipment, electronic media, documents, etc. that handle personal information, server equipment containing personal information is installed in a specific area in consideration of information security.
Technical Security Control Measures
Access to information systems that handle personal information will limit the person in charge, as well as their scope of handling with set authorities and rights.
Please note that we cannot be responsible for any Personal Data you share or post by way of submissions to public areas that may be consulted or viewed by anyone visiting, and as such, falls outside this Privacy Policy.
Article 6 - Storage, Request, and Correction of Personal Data
We will keep your personal data as accurate and complete as necessary for the purposes which it is to be used in article 3. You may control your personal information under the profile settings of the app itself, from editing the personal information to keep the information updated, to deleting the account itself to erase the data.
Article 7 - Scope of Security and Responsibility
We are not responsible for the provision or collection of personal information that is carried out on the sites of third parties linked to the internet or on the sites of advertisers.
Article 8 - Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. You should check our website frequently to view recent changes of our Privacy Policy
